Parasols are not umbrellas 
and umbrellas are not parasols. 


 We have wonderful parasols that are not a protection from the rain, but delight in may ways:

• Fashion - A charming accent to a summer frock as a shield from harmful sun rays.  A romantic touch for a formal occasion or a garden party . . . or any party.
• A Wedding theme - A romantic time remembered with a parasol to be treasured long after flowers have faded away.  A touch of ribbon, a cluster of flowers on parasols for bride’s maids and the maid of honor.  A more elaborate embellishment for the bride’s parasol.  Endearing flower girls carrying parasols turned upside down and filled with petals to drop as they process down the aisle.  And the mother’s will carry closed parasols with flowers and streamers attached to the handles.  At a garden wedding, the mothers will open their parasols to shade themselves from the sun.
• Showers – Parasols are not for rain showers, but reflect the purpose of a bridal shower, a baby shower or any event that showers gifts on an honoree.  Use a large parasol for the gift table, doll sized parasols as table favors and a small open parasol turned on its side with flowers cascading from it for a stunning table centerpiece.
• Play – A delightful accessory for a special doll or teddy bear for anyone who loves them.
• Fun – As the finishing touch for a ‘southern belle’ at a costume party, a professional performance, a glamorous photo session.
• Decor - An accent for your home.  For example, tuck a small parasol into a lace tie back in for a dreamy effect in a powder room or bedroom, or wherever you want a special touch of tradition. 
• The obvious – Because you have always wanted a parasol and didn’t know where to find one that was beautiful, elegant and finely detailed.
